For more than forty years now . . . . life has been about combining ministry and music.
To share the life-changing power of the Gospel from platforms of every description.
It's been an amazing journey that has included being a band member and vocalist for music groups and theatre companies that include: The Bill Gaither Trio, The Gaither Vocal Band, Roger Breland & Truth, Daybreak, The Great American Opry, Country Tonite Theatre, Dollywood, and our own award-winning family entertainment venue, Eddie’s Heart & Soul Cafe in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
As a session and touring musician & vocalist, I've enjoyed opportunities to perform on stage or in the studio with a wide variety of artists including EmmyLou Harris, Dolly Parton, Steve Lukather, The Gaither Vocal Band, Albert Lee, Phil Keaggy, Percy Sledge, Mylon Lefevre, Johnny Rivers, 4Him, James Burton, Amy Grant, Craig Morgan, The Speers, Bill Champlin, Sam Bush, Dann Huff, Lenny LeBlanc, and countless others.
Major concert halls - theatres - amphitheaters - stadiums - arenas - and churches of every denomination and stripe.
Parade floats - barns - Walmart parking lots - aircraft carrier hanger decks - quonset huts - rodeos - colleges - universities -
pregames - half-times - 5th quarters - music festivals - network and local television, theme parks and national parks.
For gatherings ranging from a dozen to 40,000 across every landscape and climate . . . from bandshells to
renowned venues such as The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Toronto’s Massey Hall, and The Bellagio in Vegas.
I will always treasure being a part of the worship team when Promise Keepers exploded onto the scene
in 1992 at Folsom Stadium at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
So many wonderful moments and memories with amazing friends.
These days . . . I continue to travel across the American continent and beyond.
Yet today, there is a new found passion and energy at the heart of our ministry.
God has very literally reinvented, rewired and revolutionized my life.
I am humbled and appreciative of the words of my longtime friend, Ron Logan of the Walt Disney Company:
"Eddie is a gifted singer/songwriter who has the ability to connect with any audience.
With a commitment to excellence in every facet of his performance - the years of experience are obvious . .
and yet, there is still the passion and joy of a performer at the very onset of his career."
WAKING UP DEAD is a true story of suicide, divine intervention and a life transformed. A true accounting directly from author and songwriter, Eddie Anders on what he calls his dark night of the soul when life seemed too hard to continue any longer, even though from the outside, it looked as if he had it all. At age 50, after more than thirty years of ministry, he checked into a Minneapolis hotel, consuming a massive amount of Ambien, Dramamine and Phenergan with the full intention of taking his own life. Rescued, healed and reinvented . . . Eddie has discovered all the fulness of a brand new life.
This is more than a memoir and readers are sure to be hooked as he shares in detail all he’s learned over a decade concerning what led him to self-destruction and the process of overcoming depression.
Written with the goal and hope to rescue as many people as possible from drowning in depression and potential suicide, WAKING UP DEAD is a powerful read certain to leave audiences moved and aware.

You might be tempted to think with the title
WAKING UP DEAD
and a presentation that involves the word suicide . . . .
you would most likely be in store for a dark and morbid hour
of tedious testimony and very sad songs.
NOPE! NOT EVEN CLOSE!
Every event / presentation is a joyful celebration
of life and encouragement for your soul.
Our intention and purpose is to fan the embers of hope
in lives each and every day.
Our mission is to bring healing and renewal to people
who are beat-up and broken.
Or - at least feel that way.
The most successful people - even people of faith -
find themselves in contemporary culture combating weariness,
discouragement and even depression.
Most of us just "perform" in a way to keep it all tucked away deep inside.
The music we share helps to establish that environment where joyful expectation can thrive - focusing on building encouraging, life-altering faith that sees beyond the daily grind of the obvious . . . . . to all that life in Christ can be.
We have the ability and insight to adapt the music and presentations
to best serve whatever setting into which we are invited.
As we have done for years . . . . we enthusiastically exercise flexibility .
You will quickly realize we are not purists about musical style.
We have presented our message and music in every setting imaginable.
I share the story of how God rescued me from myself . . . .
healed me entirely . . . then completely reinvented my life.
I am the living breathing textbook definition of a new creation.
In the context of those moments . . . .
the music we utilize simply helps to communicate
the message of Inspiration, Hope and Renewal
and Waking Up To A New Reality of life in Christ.
Just a renewed vagabond . . . sharing from his heart.
Let's talk about us coming to your church, group or school.
